Access & Installation

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the furniture ordered will fit into the required location. It is important that you carefully measure where the piece is going, ensuring that there is adequate access and that you check the area has no tight turns, narrow doorways or low ceilings. Some pieces are heavy and require a two man lift which is included in our delivery service. Most items are fully assembled on delivery. We will give you an estimated delivery date when the furniture is ordered, and prior to delivery you will be offered a delivery day based on our carrier’s availability in your area. If you will not be available on the date offered this may delay your delivery. We will call you approximately two days prior to the agreed delivery date to take payment of the order. The delivery team will unwrap and put the furniture in place for you.

Dimensions

All items may vary very slightly to within 5mm on either side so please take this into consideration when measuring. We will always advise on the best measurements for an area when given the overall dimensions. Measurements for kitchens will be done by our team and will be our responsibility. We must be notified of any changes to the area after informing us of initial measurements, eg: new doorways, porches built onto buildings etc, as this may affect access.

Colour

We cannot be held responsible for any perceived differences between swatches and actual pieces of furniture as paint colours can vary very slightly from batch to batch. Our kitchens, furniture, tables and chairs are all finished in our own spray-shop. We use a water-based paint specifically mixed for our spray system. It has a 20% sheen much like a modern eggshell paint, this provides a robust and smooth finish, easily cleaned with a damp cloth. We colour match to any of the leading paint manufacturers.

aftercare

We always advise not positioning the furniture near any heat source, eg: radiators, Agas etc, as this will affect the moisture content of the wood and may cause cracking. Our reclaimed wooden worktops are waxed unless otherwise discussed and we recommend avoiding contact with water. Our oak worktops are oiled and have good water resistance, although we recommend re-oiling every year. Some variations in the shade, grain or pattern of the wood may occur. This gives our furniture its unique appearance and should not be mistaken for faults in the wood.

payment

We require full payment when the order has been completed and a delivery date has been confirmed but we do not normally require a deposit. We accept most major credit cards.
